I'd really appreciate some input here as my circumstances have drastically changed recently and I'm feeling a little lost.
I was made redundant during a TUPE process. The new incoming employer insisted on changing the shift pattern and because I had reasonable adjustments in place for my disabilities, the new shift pattern of much longer days just was not possible for me to do. I was offered redundancy on that basis and I accepted as I knew that if I transferred over, worked under protest and then left I would be in a worse position with no income whilst waiting 1 - 2 years for tribunal.
I know I am no longer able to continue in the same kind of work due to the stress involved and the impact it had on my physical and mental health, so I need to change career and ideally find something working from home where I don't have to deal with people much! I'm now in my mid 50's and have no clue as to the type of job I could do now or where to look.
Any suggestions would be really appreciated as I want to continue to work whilst I am still able to.
TIA

Have a think about what youd like to do. Can you study? If you really wanted to work and it was suitable for you could you get a job working from home until you feel you know what you want.

Hi @Scrumptious67, have you had a look at Scope's Employment Services? They might be able to offer you some support. There's also a list of disability-friendly employers and job boards that might be useful to you too.
Sounds silly, but have you thought about getting some of your ideas down on paper? Even if it's just some basic stuff, sometimes it's useful to list the things that you like or don't like doing, and any skills you might have that could be useful in other careers. Then you can see if anything sparks any further ideas from there1
