Individual Placement and Support
Does anyone know much about this? I would love to get back into work but I have several barriers to entry and have just learnt about the Individual Placement and Support service.
But can't actually find out much about it, who runs it, whether its one organisation or several or much of anything really.
I would only be able to work from home and could never do anything involving customers like speaking to them over the phone so my needs are pretty specific

Hi @Ray212 it's great you're looking into getting back to work. Have you thought about contacting our lovely folk at Support to work? They may be perfect for you.0

IPS employment support is provided by several organisations including the NHS (dependant on if their Mental Health teams run it etc) just look up which ever NHS trust runs your mental health services, and see if they have IPS. Depending on if it’s primary care (GP etc) or secondary care (so community mental health teams) will depend on if you’re eligible for it. Good luck!

Thanks, though this post is 8 months old and I started IPS a long time ago.
