The only time it would affect it was if she's claiming Pension Credit that includes the Severe disability Premium because she lives alone or is treated as living alone.0

Thanks for your reply she does live alone but she dosent receive any benefits just her attendance allowance and her pensions0

There maybe some entitlement to Pension Credit but it will depend on her circumstances. The PC would also include the Severe disability Premium because she lives alone. If there is entitlement to PC then she's been missing out on some money so it would be worth her check. She can use a PC calculator which you can find here.https://www.gov.uk/pension-credit-calculator
If you claim carers element, she wouldn't be entitled to SDP going forward but it's worth checking to see if she was entitled to it in the past, especially if she's been claiming AA for while. PC would also entitle her to full council Tax reduction and housing benefit (if she rents her home)1 -
She has a pension from my dads work so she isn’t able to receive pension credits or anything else we were happy she got the attendance allowance but now I have had to migrate to universal credit and had to tell them I am my mums carer and can’t work full time they have put carers element on my award I was just scared that they would deduct money from her attendance allowance I know a girl that the same thing has happened to her with her dad she had a note in her journal saying if she’s applied for carers element her dad could loose his aa she is waiting on a reply from uc case manager0
