Hi, my name is 4291! LCWRA denied after health assessment. Has anyone else experienced this?

Has anyone else experienced this?
I discovered, (via a request for information) that a health assessment i had in 2022 stated that I had limited capability for work and went on the say under the heading of special circumstances that i would experience significant harm etc if made to prepare for work etc.
Am I right in thinking that if the assessor says I qualify for limited capability for work due to points but special circumstances at risk due to mental health disablement etc, is this in fairness a recommendation for limited capability for work and work related activity?

All opinions welcome

Thanks

Yes that would be a recommendation for LCWRA but the decision maker went against it. It does happen but it rare, though not impossible. If you disagreed with the decision at the time then you could have challenged it by requesting the MR.

Heya @4291 and welcome to the community. :)

That does seem odd, but as Poppy has said, the assessor went against that recommendation. Putting in for a MR would be a good option.
