Hospitals Could Learn from Great Yarmouth Hospital

Sadly, while on holiday I got bit by a dog while trying to protect my dog. I thought I would be in a&e for hours on end. Where I live you are normally waiting for around 2 hours to see a nurse, and then another three to four hours to see a doctor.
At Great Yarmouth hospital they have a great system. I could not believe that within 50 minutes, I had booked in, had a tetnus injection and given medication to take for three days.
I think the head of hospitals need to visit this hospital and learn how they do it.

Glad you had a good experience
More importantly how was Great Yarmouth?? I have family from Norfolk and know that place well....0 -
I enjoy coming to Great Yarmouth. Sun is shining. We try and come here at least four times a year.

Nice @happyfella lucky you going so often
We find the place is often a bit of a ghost town now, I guess because going abroad is so cheap now
All the better for me as I don't like crowds, but sad for the businesses0 -
my daughter has just paid to go on holiday all inclusive for seven days to spain for £1,000 with her boyfriend, but if they could have gone four days earlier which her boyfriend cannot get off work as he has set times he can take off work, they could have had the same holiday for £400. that is a silly price.

@happyfella
I know what you mean yeah
I once read a story about someone who needed to go from London to Glasgow for a meeting with a colleague
It was cheaper to fly from London to Malaga AND to pay for his colleague to fly from Glasgow to Malaga as well, have the meeting in Spain, then fly home again0 -
Glad you got seen quick @happyfella and hope the bite wasn't too serious. That seems a bit pricy to me for a holiday0
