Issues with the community

You might notice a change with the comment box and how you format your posts. It may take some getting used to but in the long run it will help to improve the community and ensure issues like we had yesterday happen less frequently.
If anyone has issues with using it or has any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

From what I've seen so far it seems much better. I haven't used my iPhone to check yet but I will later. Using my Mac it seems much more responsive than it was before. Fingers crossed it's the same for the phone. Thanks @Adrian_Scope

Just to say thanks and I actually prefer the new comment box, I think it seems a little more "utilitarian" and a little less "looks nice but doesn't work perfectly" if that makes sense … it will take some getting used to but I think it's actually more efficient

I'm probably telling you something that you know already but have you tried reducing your screen brightness?
I often find screens too bright for me, but I prefer the look of a white page than a dark one, and reducing the brightness of my display works for me

Just to keep everyone in the loop, we've disabled dark mode as it was a tad too dark.

Hi Noman, is it still doing this? I managed to get it to vibrate or judder very briefly when scrolling, a bit like it's lagging, but the page then crashes. Is that similar to what you're experiencing?

This is exactly the same for me on my iPhone 15 pro max.
Also when posting links you see the who thing rather than just the link and that is annoying.

One thing I have noticed on my Mac (this is a good thing) is that when I comment on a thread the delay in posting the comment has gone. I thought it was my internet connection being rubbish but clearly it wasn't that, it was the forum all the time. I did wonder why it only happened here.

I don't know if anyone else is having this issue but quite a few times today I've seen members post a comment, which then followed either one or two empty boxes, just as if they posted but nothing typed in that box. Here's one example here.
Another issue I'm having with my iPhone 15 is that when I posted a link today on a thread, the link went outside the box. You can see that here.
The problem I had with my iPhone before the changes has also returned. When viewing longer threads using the iPhone it's impossible to view them because I keep having a connection issue. This problem doesn't happen when using my Mac.

I cannot click on the box that allows you to keep track on a thread.

Thanks @noman. Is the page returning an error when this happens at all?
