If all animals were the same size
Which one would win in a fight?
Someone suggested a pathogen to me, but I thought that was silly, because pathogens tend to cause harm by entering a living thing, if they were massive they couldn't do that π
I thought some kind of mite like an itch mite or skin mite. If they are microscopic but you can still feel their bite a tiny bit in the form of an itch, imagine what damage they would cause if they were 6 foot long

I love this question. It's like the old "Would you rather fight a bear sized duck, or a duck sized bear?"
My money is always on tardigrades, aka water bears or moss piglets. They can survive in vacuums, can resurrect and live anywhere, they're practically immortal. They may not win many fights, but they'd keep coming back time and time again and wear all other contenders down. π1 -
Mosquito with the diseases they carry. That needle looking mouth π³

Ooof yeah a lot of the flying stinging insects would be pretty scary if they were bigger!
And I'm with you on the mites thing. Ticks too! Imagine how much they would drink if they were human sized π€’

I thought of another one
I remember having nits in my hair as a child
My Dad had to use a really fine comb to get them out, then he squashed them with the handle of the comb
They were tiny but still made quite a "crunch" when squashed
I don't know about their offensive capabilities but if they were big, their shells would probably be pretty thick!!!

Exactly my point @Biblioklept they'd win the long game for sure. π
The talk of huge mosquitos is giving me flashbacks to the old film The Mist. I'm feeling itchy just thinking about them.
