STOP DEMONetISING US!!
Reducing our income will not reduce ill-health and disability!
Also want to thank Scope for adjusting the highlighted quotes to the bare minimum so we don't need to scroll and scroll and scroll through repeats which used to drive me potty!

I'd like to know where they found these seemingly endless hordes of people who claim disability benefits as a "lifestyle choice" as if they chose to be in the situation they are in
I won't lie, I've come across a few, but the vast majority don't make a conscious choice to become disabled just so they can cash in on their national insurance contributions…
NI is an insurance scheme like any other…The whole point of any insurance policy is hoping you'll never need to claim on it … people pay a lot for their car insurance, if the government was accurate in their judgement that claiming is a lifestyle choice, then where are all the people having a crash on purpose just to get their money's worth 🙄

Well, of course some drivers do precisely that but the solution isn't to stop everyone else from driving in order to foil a few fraudsters..

That's the point I was making but yeah for the benefit of anyone who didn't get it hopefully that explanation will be helpful 😊
In fairness I did admittedly start driving a bit more "enthusiastically" after I had to pay over a grand for insurance as a new driver. I was a very nervous and careful driver at first but then when they applied a legalised form of ageism and sexism to decide I was a risk based on "guilt by association", I decided that I might as well get my money's worth
Immature, maybe
