Are You Likely to Lose PIP After a Knee Replacement? Been on standard rate PIP for both parts. Due for review last award was for 7yrs. Been on it for 9yrs total. I have rheumatoid arthritis with secondary osteoarthritis. In constant pain with opposite ankle to replaced knee. My review is about a yr overdue. Had a standard txt y/day from an assessment firm to effect will contact if we need to assess you. Last week a DWP clerk rang & left a voice mail that she would ring later nothing to worry about & if she couldn't contact me she'd ring on Wed. When she called me back I was on phone. She didn't call on Wed. Any thoughts or advice

If it's not fixed the problem, or you have other problems, then I don't see why you'd lose your PIP

    I'd try not to worry

Hey @Runaway_61 welcome to our community 😀 First of all congrats on your knee replacement. I hoped it did help a little.

I would do exactly what you did last time. Explain all the issues you are having with your day to day living. That's all you really need to say.

Good luck with it, we are here if you have any other questions! Our advice section has some advice on appealing if the decision doesn't go your way. https://www.scope.org.uk/advice-and-support/challenging-pip-or-other-benefits-decisions
