What's the BEST invitation that could fall through your letter box?

@marybottomley's amazing post about going to the Royal garden party made me want to ask this to the community

What's the best thing imaginable that you could be invited to???

I have 2 or 3 so I will enjoy reading others while I try to narrow it down

The chance to spend time volunteering to care for Orangutans/elephants/sloths/panda's/capybara's…….

To live on an island (somewhere warm) just convening with nature.

To be invited to travel around New Zealand/Norway/Sweden/Madagascar.

To go up in a hot air balloon(in Africa but would settle for the UK).

This is a tough one! I think it would be an all-expenses paid trip somewhere with a guide that knows all my favourite stuff and just organises everything for me. I'd love to see America, Canada or Asia with zero pressure to do any of the thinking or planning myself.

Like Scrumptious, I'd love to be invited to do something with animals too.

Or maybe just having a comfy sofa right at the front of a concert of all my favourite bands and musicians. Within reach of the rest of the audience so I can still get some of the fun collective vibes if I want to, but far enough away that I don't feel squashed and can just sit back and get comfy 😁

This week I'd have liked an invite to the Chelsea flower show or Radio 1's Big Weekend. 🙂

I've been to the Chelsea Flower Show!!!

It's a lovely thing to go to, seriously, it's impressive, there are some really amazing things to look at, some of the stuff is out of this world

Some of the people there are very interesting and knowledgeable as well, I just love seeing people who are devoted to something they are passionate about

But I did find that the customers, or audience, whatever you want to call them, is mostly middle class people trying to outdo each other and pretend they know what they are talking about

And a litre jug of Pimm's with lemonade is £30
