Undiagnosed Condition in PIP review
Hello all,
My PIP review papers have landed. I am currently on the enhanced care rate for Autism, and anxiety and depression, no mobility element.
My GP and I have been having discussions around ADHD, and I have scored highly on the initial questionnaire. So he is putting a referral in, and obviously there is a waiting list of some years.
Is it correct for me to reference this in the answers, or should I just frame my answers around Autism/ anxiety and reference the ADHD in the supporting information in the back? I Could always mainly base the answers around what I know I have, and put a reference in to each answer to the undiagnosed condition?

Heya @stevenh60 I'm glad the forms have arrived safely. :)
It's usually best practice to look at how each descriptor is affected by your conditions, rather than the conditions themselves. So it's fine to mention your autism, anxiety and potential ADHD, but make sure you say how they affect you on each descriptor, with real life examples of how you struggle. It's less about diagnosis and more about how you're affected. I hope that makes sense?0
