    I’m on universal credit and I’ve had to fill out a form for not going out to work to my mental health

    Are you talking about the Work Capability Assessment? Have you had the assessment yet?

    yes and I’m limited for looking for work so I don’t need to look for work

    It doesn't help by giving such limited information. What was the decision exactly please? Was it Limited Capability for Work Related Activity? (LCWRA) or Limited Capability For work (LCW)? Please check the letter on your journal.

    You will only receive extra money if the decision was LCWRA.

    1/ What date exactly did you provide your first fit note?

    2/ What date do you usually receive your money each month?

    3/ Did you provide fit notes without any gaps until a decision was made on your WCA?

    Gaps in your fit notes can affect when the extra money is paid from. How long were the gaps? Or were you did you mean there were no gaps in your fit notes?

    If there were no gaps then your waiting period will be March/April, April/May, May/June.. LCWRA starts from 5th June to 4th July and first payment will be 11th July. No LCWRA element is owed.

    As I advised, if there were no gaps in your fit notes up until a decision was made then your waiting period will be March/April, April/May, May/June.. LCWRA starts from 5th June to 4th July and first payment will be 11th July. No LCWRA element is owed.
