hi I’ve seen a few similar posts & im still a bit confused about when people get their first payment for LCWRA.

My first sick note was sent 16/2/24, my assessment was 20/5/24 & I got it awarded 29/5/24. I get paid on the 13th of the month. So would that mean I’d get it in July?

Your waiting period will be March/April, April/May, May/June.. LCWRA starts from 7th June to 6th July and first payment will be 13th July. No LCWRA element is owed.

This is assuming there were no gaps in your fit notes and you're not claiming UC with a partner that already receives this element on your claim.

What date exactly did you provide your first fit note?

What date do you usually receive your money each month?

A'll fit notes were handed in on the 23 of each month
