UC review invasion of privacy

I don't agree with UC having my people's statements it's an invasion of privacy. Bank statements contain a wealth of sensitive financial information, including details of income, spending habits, and potentially embarrassing transactions. By demanding access to these documents, the government is effectively granting itself unfettered insight into an individual's most personal financial matters.
Furthermore, the government's stated justification for accessing bank statements - to verify income and prevent fraud—is questionable. Many other methods exist to verify financial stability, such as payslips and tax returns. The blanket requirement for bank statement access is excessive and disproportionate to the supposed risk of fraud.

I understand your worries but in fairness I don't think they are actually that interested in any one individual's habits, aside from those which could be perceived as fraudulent
Once they are assured there is no fraud, I doubt they continue reading your transactions out of curiosity
I think they'd argue it's not any sort of violation of rights or privacy, because you have the option of maintaining privacy, albeit with the risk of losing benefit income
Sadly, pay slips and tax returns don't show how you're spending the money
I'd try not to worry, put it this way - your bank statements are extremely unlikely to be the most embarrassing ones that stand out to the person reading them on a given day!!

I'm not really worried; I just don't think it's right

If it's your only way of having an income because of not being well enough to work, which means if your money is stopped you wont be able to afford to physically live anymore and you'd end up dying of starvation, unless suicide gets you first because of not being able to cope, then you don't really have much of an option.
