Help about - migration notice letter to UC from income support.

Recently I got migration notice letter that I have to apply to UC from income support. I am a carer for a disabled sibling is this anything to worry about should i be worried

Make sure you report being a carer when filling out the form and your UC will include the carers element. Carers allowance will be deducted in full from any UC entitlement. As a carer you will not have a work commitments but maybe expected to attend your first appointment at the job centre. After that there will be no further appointments.
IS will continue for 2 weeks once you claim UC.
