PIP review after award ended
Hello,
I was awarded PIP for four years and the award ended last year. I didn't receive any PIP review forms and tried to get in contact with the DWP but with no success. However, I continued to receive PIP and then was sent the review forms a month ago which I have now sent back.
Has this happened to anyone else where you received the forms after the award ended? I am concerned that this will be considered an overpayment.
Also, how long does a PIP review typically take please?

You said your award ended last year but then said you continued to receive PIP. Your award was extended due to the delays with review decisions. We have members here still waiting a year after returning their form.
I returned my form last November and my award was due to end at the end of this month. Today I received a letter telling me my award has been extended for 1 year because of the delays.
If a decision hasn't been made within 35 days of your award ending you will receive a letter telling you that it's been extended because it will continue until a decision is made. Yes, it's frustrating and stressful waiting but you won't be alone.
All I can advise is to try to forget about it and concentrate on something else because it's could be a very long wait.

Thanks for the reply, for some reason they haven't sent any letter that says that my award has been extended. I'm hoping it is on the way otherwise I might give them a call and get them to put it in writing.
It is frustrating but like you said, I'm not on my own with this.
