Is there any financial assistance that l can use to pay for having my flat decorated?

I have just recently moved home to a council 1 bedroom flat .
Is there any financial assistance that l can use to pay for having my flat decorated throughout please ??

Speak to your Local Authority and they may have some funding available for this. Some social/council housing landlords also give vouchers for decorating but I know not all of them do so check with yours. When I moved into a social housing property in January there was nothing available from mine.

Do ask but don't get your hopes up, my LA offer decorating vouchers but the value never changes, so it'll buy 2 tins of paint at best.

lol seems like things haven't changed in many years. I remember back about 10 years or so ago when I moved into a social housing property. I was given a voucher for £50 but the places I could use it was very limited and the cost was a lot higher and could only get 2 tins. It wasn't even enough to decorate my living room at the time.

Yes I believe my LA also has limits on where the voucher can be used.
