Will I lose my benefits if I move in with my adult son?

I wondered if anyone can help me, been on the phone for an hour to Esa. I currently live on my own at the moment, but needing to find somewhere else to live. If my adult son who works full time, if i move in with him, he pays the rent will i lose my benefits.. I currently get ESA in support group, disability premium and PIP. Need to know before i make that decision..

If your ESA includes the Severe disability Premium then you will lose that, unless your son either claims a qualifying disability benefit himself or he's registered blind. You will also not be entitled to claim for help with any rent.
If you were ringing ESA for advice this isn't the best place to ring because you're speaking to someone from a call centre, who has very little benefits knowledge, other than to read from a screen.

Thank you Poppy for your response. Who is the best people to call, is Citizens advice any good

Any advice agency apart from Citizens Advice but not sure what other advice you're expecting other than the correct advice I've given you. If your ESA includes the SDP you can see the eligibility criteria here.
