Hi, my name is Vad! Do I have to apply for PIP or do I get it automatically?

Need some advice.
A few months ago, I submitted claim to the job center for UC based on my health condition, then I filled out the forms that the DWP sent me and then I also had a telephone interview.
A week ago JC received positive confirmation from DWP and said that I no longer need to visit them for a year
My question is do I have to apply for PIP or will I start receiving it automatically.
The thing is, I checked the in the UC in my account, but payments still the same .

What was the decision of the work capability assessment? Were you found to have Limited Capability for Work Related Activity.(LCWRA) or Limited Capability for work. (LCW)
You will only be entitled to extra money if the decision was LCWRA.
PIP is a completely different benefit and needs to be claimed separately. Whether there’s any entitlement will depend on how your health conditions affect you.

Hello @Vad, welcome to the community. Looks like Poppy has answered some of your questions already, but I just wanted to say hello and welcome 😊
I'll move your post over into our benefits section in case you've got any further questions about benefits. Nothing you've done wrong, just means the right people can find it more easily.

Hi poppy123456
Many thanks for quick reply.
I have a letter from DWP with decision LImited Capability for work.
So, can I apply for PIP or other benefits except UC

As the decision was LCW there's no extra money for this. If you disagree with the decision and think you should have been found to have LCWRA you can request the Mandatory Reconsideration. Another decision maker will look at your claim and come to another decision.
PIP is a different benefit, yes you can apply if you think you can score enough of points needed for an award.
There's no other benefits to claim because UC has replaced all other means tested benefits.

Hi poppy123456
Many thanks for the help
I checked my payment of UC and there nothing about LCW , but I cheched GOV.UK and there is "If you were assessed as having a ‘limited capability for work’ £156.11 monthly payment. Also , in calculation nothing about payment for my wife as a care worker , because now she looks after me .
Can you please advice what should I doRegards

You’ve misunderstood what you read. You will not be entitled to any extra money for LCW because your claim started after April 2017. See link
For your wife to claim carers element you need to be claiming daily living PIP. LCW doesn’t entitle your wife to carers element for looking after you.
