Hi, my name is Marlene12_!
Hi ..just wondering if someone could help me with my query.. I've now been on lwrca for nearly 3 years and have taken a 16 hour a week contract out in a local supermarket 7 months ago ( still struggling daily after losing my husband very suddenly) now that I've found a job will I be reassessed on the basis that I don't need benifits now as I've put myself forward to work... it was and is hard working but I could not manage to live on lwrca solely. Many Thanks

Sorry for your loss. People do work when found to have LCWRA. If the work you do contradicts the reasons why you\re claiming LCWRA then it could go against you when you're next reviewed.

My 3 years are now up for lwrca I have sent requested bank statements
.what happens next please. Even though I have taken on a 16 hour a week job I still suffer very bad with depression and still on medication
How do I explain to UN that I am only working as I wouldn't or couldn't survive without another income. I struggle daily to get out of bed and be kind to my customers. But I'm sure they wouldn't understand this . I'm in a dilemma atm as if my lcwra stops I'm going to be more depressed with every day life. It's just a viscous cycle

Unless they send you out another UC50 form you do not need to think about the LCWRA, it will continue until they reassess you. The timescale is a suggestion for reassessment, not an end date, and many people are not reassessed until much later than this date. In some cases many years. They will continue to pay your LCWRA until you are reassessed.
