I currently have LCW and PIP and on universal credit. I have long term back pain, arthritis as well other health issues.

If am currently off sick and have been so for 9 months. I have been there 5 years, even with reasonable adjustments in place, I was still in pain and regulary off sick. My work place wanted to know if I will be retuning to work. I sent an email them I will not be returning to work due to ongoing health issues and wanted be terminated on the grounds job capability. I typed this email on my mobile phone but didn't realise that was a small section in the email which was further down the page that I forgot to delete where I said I would not be returning due to ongoing health issues without the part of being terminated on grounds on capability in it. HR had obviously seen this and replied to my email saying they would send me a letter stating that I would leave due to ongoing health issues. I did write to HR to let them that I wanted termination on the grounds of capability, awaiting reply.

I know it's my mistake and should have checked the email before sending it. I shouldn't have have used my mobile due to the small screen size.

I am worried that I will be sanctioned by universal credit for resigning/leaving my job?

Please can anyone enlighten me re: universal credit or if in a similar position of leaving their job?

Thank you

You have LCW so can't be sanctioned for leaving your job.
