in Start here and say hello!

Hi . I have recently started claiming universal credit . I am disabled on pip . I sent in my fitnote on the 18th March 2024 I had my work assessment on the 24th April . On the 31st April I had the decision . I was awarded LCWRA . I was wondering when and if I am entitled to any extra money . I hope somebody will be able to help me . Thank you .

    That means your waiting period will be April/May, May/June, June/July.. LCWRA starts from assessment period 6th July to 5th August and first payment will be 12th August. No LCWRA element is owed.

    My advice assumes you’re not claiming UC with a partner that already receives this element. And also assumes there were no gaps in your fit notes.
