Has anyone had text to say may need to see medical assessor and if yes how long to wait ? O

Hey @jojo1972 that sounds like the standard text the DWP send when they've received your forms. It just means you may need an assessment. Which may be a video call or phone call, but sometimes if you gave enough information, they will do a paper assessment, but those are fairly rare.
Current wait times aren't short unfortunately, you could be looking at anything from 5 to 12 weeks on average, but it depends on how busy assessors are in your area.

I’m assuming this is a review of a current award because I see from previous comments you were awarded last January.
If so then there are considerably long delays with review decisions and you could be waiting more than a year.
I returned my form last November and received 2 text messages since then that told me they still have my form and I may need an assessment…. Nothing further. Your PIP will continue until a decision is made.
