That is lovely! I recently started teaching myself to crochet I am struggling with how to get the tension just right. How long have you crocheted for?

@SpringDay Thnnks for your comment. I have been crocheting for just over 2 years and I have only managed to get my tension right by practising. My work started off really crooked but it's getting better. I really enjoy it.

Me too! Is anyone taking part in the Hobbycraft/Knitcraft Granny Square Crochet-Along this year? The previous years squares were all lovely, fun free patterns and they're mix and match as they're the same colour scheme and size. They're what got me into crocheting years ago.

@tomato_soz I am still trying to finish the autumn one from last year. Stopped to do christmas present and have been so poorly this year that I haven't had the brain power to concentrate on something intricate. Have you done any of them?

Yes all of them - though they take me months to do. I've been doing the Hachette Disney Crochet blanket for the last couple of years too. The subscription is nearly at an end I'm only halfway through it. I like following the crochet alongs and I can crochet fast, but still need more time because I get bored and put things aside for ages.
