DLA for daughter sent letter to confirm if we plan to keep doing the paper work phone calls etc

we have been sent a letter to confirm if my wife will keep doing all the paper work and stuff for dla and eventually pip, has anyone any advice as to what to write as my daughter wouldn’t be able to do this she wouldn’t talk to anyone and wouldn’t be able to fill in any forms

Is this regarding being her appointee? If so what forms have you been sent? I've never known then send out forms to become an appointee. Usually you have a visit from a DWP rep.

yes being the appointee, my daughters award came through after her 16 birthday the forms are asking if we are going to become her appointee and to fill out and send back

If she's unable to manage her own claim because of her disabilities then yes they should be filled in. Just tell them why she's unable to manage her own claim. The appointee will then be responsible for receiving her money and using it in her best interests, filling in forms and answering questions during any assessment she may have. Letters will be addressed to the appointee.
