WCA
Hello, I need some advice. My husband started having health problems in November 2023 and could no longer work. I applied for UC on January 29 and submitted my first sick note on February 6. We were called to the job center on February 29 to verify the identity and I tried to discuss with them about the WCA because the first evaluation period had already passed. They told me that they would write in my diary. I had no work obligations because my salary is almost 2000. My husband's obligations were only to put notes of the disease. I submitted without gaps the notes of the disease but they did not accept them. I asked them in the diary to be sent to the WCA and they replied that they did not accept the note as GUT does not mean anything. wrote that he suffers from gout and osteoarthritis and to send me a link to send them evidence. They didn't answer. After 2 weeks I asked them again for a recommendation for WCA and they replied that they need to see the evidence. I asked them for a link where to attach them, no answer. I asked them to make an appointment with them to take them. After a week I received a message that they received the medical evidence and will check if it should be recommended to the WCA. I asked where did he get them because I didn't send anything. From the doctor, I don't think he ever had the same doctor for consultations, and it doesn't appear in the NHS account that he sent anything either. In the same period I applied for PIP and on the day when I got the message that a health professional was looking I got the message in the diary that he would get uc50. My suspicion was that they had access to the evidence sent for PIP. I sent back the completed uc50 on the 10th of May. I haven't heard anything from then. Only messages in the diary that the sick note has expired. I asked them to check that there were 7 days left and it is not expired. After 5 days I added another one that is valid until June 30. They sent me another message on June 15 that the note is expired. I wrote to them that it is valid and to check. On June 17 he received a message that he received PIP and after 2 hours at UC he received a message that the apt notes were accepted. But now to the list of things to do doesn't appear anymore Provide a proper grade. I don't understand why they don't ask for a grade anymore. I know it doesn't change anything if I let them know that they are getting PIP but I said that if I write them maybe they would rush the WCA. I can ask them in log what is happening with uc50? How long do I have to wait?

I don’t know what you mean by “evolution period” or what you mean by “ why they don’t ask for a grade”
It often takes quite a few months to hear about the work capability assessment. The form was only returned in May so there’s plenty of time yet. A decision can take anything up to about 6 months after returning the UC50 form.
A PIP award doesn’t entitle him to LCWRA unless he’s state pension age or above.
If his PIP includes the daily living part are you aware than you can claim carers element of UC for looking after him, assuming that you’re not claiming the LCWRA element for yourself.

July 5th will be your 5th UC payment if accepted LCWRA should get the first award. Can I ask in the journal or call somewhere to ask what stage the application is at?

Until now, they asked him to send aptitude notes. Now they don't tell him to send anything.

He needs to continue to send fit notes until a decision is made on the WCA. Gaps in fit notes will affect when the extra money is paid from if found to have LCWRA.
Pointless asking on his journal because if the assessment report hasn’t been returned they won’t be able to tell you anything.
The Health Assessment Advisory Service are responsible for the WCA. He can ring them to ask if there’s any updates. See link https://chdauk.co.uk/about-us/contact-us/
