Hi everyone I'm having a change of circumstances with my uc & child benefit, my son who's 18 has nearly completed his college course and he's going straight into full time job 37.5 hrs a week in a few weeks time beginning of July, atm he's on my uc claim as a full time college student, can I still receive his claim right up to him getting paid cos he's got to work a month in advance, meanwhile I've still got to keep him and pay for his travel to work, thank you everyone in advance much appreciated x

Once he leaves full time education and he starts working you must report the changes to UC and child benefit and both will then end. Remember that your UC entitlement is based on your circumstances on the last day of your assessment period.
