Hi, my name is rjward in-between people. can I get one off payment to modify car?

Iam medium level hemiplegic down the right hand side ,probably cannot get mobility allowance ,but you get one off payment to modify your car if it is an automatic so you can use your good leg for the controls

    To access the Motability scheme you need to be claiming either high rate mobility DLA or Enhanced mobility PIP/ADP.

    If you don't have either of those awards you can't access the scheme. I'm not aware of any financial help for adaptions to your car outside of the Motability scheme.
