What is the longest you can be supported with DHP in hounslow
Hi, all! Hope someone can help me with info since I am sick worried. I have been evicted from the property and was lucky enough to find another one in Hounslow and avoid homelessness.
Problem is the difference between local housing allowance and the rent is to big.
I applied for Discretionary Housing Payments to cover me for a year. How likely is for me to get it, and if I do, how likely would they support me again and again...Since, if I stuck in this property I probably will need permanent help...
Anyone with similar situation? Please help!

It will be impossible to answer that question because each DHP is dealt with case by case, this is why it's a "Discretionary" payment. Usually if awarded it's only for a short period of time before you have to reapply,
Are you already living in the property?
