Useful in the heat

We need to drink more water and what with the sewage scandals I'm guessing some of us prefer filtered water. I struggled with water filter jugs for years, too awkward. Not being able to stand up straight meant filling from a jug was too high up. Pouring was too heavy. Finally I discovered clever people have invented water-bottles with built-in filters. You simply fill from the tap and swig. Wasn't sure if everyone knew about these, so I thought I'd mention. I don't think I can name names here, but a search on 'water bottle with filter' should bring up many makes.

Ah thanks for letting us know @Cantilip that'll be very useful!

I use a 2l zero water jug, mostly because my carnivorous plants don't like tap water, but it certainly is nicer for me to drink too. But it can be a bit tough on the wrists at times.

Is there a reason against bottled water?

I am guessing environmental or cost reasons

I drink lots of tap water but I didn't know it's a bad idea in the UK, in the south east we apparently have quite "hard" water, which is bad for kettles and stuff, but it's still cheaper to buy a new appliance every few years than use different water
