What they refer to as "Co-production" is anything where the service users (like patients) get to work along side and have input along with all the professionals
I've done it and it was quite good and it felt like my opinion was valued
As someone whose never worked the experience was quite good, being able to talk on equal terms even with doctors rather than it being like "them and me" was quite affirming
They also pay you a small amount for your time as well, I got about £25 for 3 hours several years ago but it might have gone up … I also made a lot on the travelling expenses as I had to drive 100 miles and got £0.50 a mile which I felt bad about to be honest but it was a nice bonus
