I’m scared what happens to me and my partner

I have a learning disability sometimes I can’t remember things since go blank after someone tells me I can’t handle money I also have mental illness my partner can’t walk because I disabled her hand can’t move much her illness getting worst she got care. I’m

Getting care soon as well but I’m scared what happened our benfits if any party get elected . They are attacking disabled people who can’t work .

    Please try not to worry too much, it was all just talk by the government and nothing had been set in stone. We will probably have a new government tomorrow who will have their own ideas. But anything that does happen, it wont happen quickly. I'm really glad to hear you've got your care sorted out though, that's brilliant news.

    I am with Zane, i looked into the Labour Manifesto and couldnt find anything on Benefits.. Seems like they hid it to get elected then will smash Disabled people

    Labour have a history of increasing spending on welfare, I see nothing in their manifesto to suggest they will make huge cuts like the Tories promised to do. They still rely on a large left wing vote and support of Unions, they can't afford to attack the poor, because they would lose their voters.

    They might change things because unfortunately the country is much poorer now because of Brexit and we don't have as much money, but Labour won't be so nasty. I expect that you will be safe.

    As @Albus_Scope said, any changes will take time to happen so there'll be time to look at the changes and deal with what may happen. I wouldn't try and guess what the new government may do as that could cause more worry.
