Pip tribunal help!?!

I recently applied for PIP in November 2023 DWP Awarded 0 at first then with MR changed it to 4 so I went on the route of asking for a tribunal paper hearing sent in a lot of evidence and new evidence that came once it had been submitted to call. It was heard the other day and I was sent an adjournment notice. On one point they have requested a face-to-face and it says.
“
- The Tribunal decided that there were discrepancies in the evidence that could be dealt with by way of oral evidence. In addition, there is an incomplete letter in the papers, and the Tribunal could benefit from seeing a full copy of that letter, as well as the medical records.”
Sent in the missing pages from that letter they are asking about but what are they saying about discrepancies?my anxiety is at its highest. I really didn’t wanna have to go into court for a face-to-face. It’s actually making me thinking about withdrawing even though I’ve waited this long to get this far. I need advice if anyone else has been through this what was the outcome?
Thanks in advance

I"m afraid I can't tell you what discrepancies they are talking about because I can't see the evidence you sent. It's likely to be that one piece of evidence is saying one thing and another piece of evidence is saying something completely different. This is why you need to make sure you check all of the evidence you're sending before sending it.
You don't have to appear in person, you can have a telephone hearing or even a video hearing. Paper based hearings have a very low success rate of only about 5-8%. For any other hearing it jumps up to about 70%,
At this stage it really is in your best interests for you to either appear in person or have a telephone/video hearing. They always prefer to hear it from you in your own words exactly how your conditions affect you.

can i request a video or phone hearing even though they have stated in point one in adjournment notice this
”
- The appeal is adjourned for a face to face hearing at Bexleyheath. It will be rescheduled on the first available date after 02/09/2024 with a time estimate of a standard time slot.”

That stats are the same so ask them if you can have a telephone or video hearing instead. If they still want you to actually appear in person do you have someone that can go with you?

I’d prefer to do video or phone I do have someone but it’s hard because the person that helps me day to day would have to stay to look after my children and I don’t want to go alone @poppy123456

I would call them up and ask if you can do a video or telephone hearing @mo2214, you still have time to do so. The person who helps you day to day can be on the video/telephone call with you to help!
