Ambulance transport question
I can't find an email address on their site. But I wanted to ask a question about this service and see if anyone else can answer it.
I've very physically disabled all my life and had covid nearly 1.5 years ago that changed into long covid. I had thought I was going to recover. But gradually over time my mobility as gone to zero and now I struggle to sit up.
In the first year I was able to sit up and transfer between seats, which enabled me to use a wheelchair. I also use a bipap machine to help me breathe, and oxygen during transfers.
But now I can't sit up without my heart rate going high. The main problem is I'm in an upstairs bedroom.
As anyone been transfered from their upstairs bed, downstairs to the ambulance, and been allowed to lay down with the journey?
I'm just scared they won't be able to help and I'll eventually be forgotten by the hospital because I'm not able to get there.

Hi @Bowdon. I had a look and found this on the NHS website . It isn't available everywhere however. It says to speak to your GP or whoever referred you to the hospital. Hope that helps 😊
