hi maxine , mine was for exactly the same I read all the mental health comments on here too . I really didn’t expect to get anything so was pleasantly surprised when I read the copy of the report and could roughly work out what the assessor had recommended that helped massively with my anxiety x

With PIP, it's less about any diagnosis and more about how your issues effect you daily @maxine1211 but I was claiming PIP for similar issues with my anxiety. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you. :)

Hi thankyou .. i explained how it affected me to lady ... not sure how it went although she was very nice to me... could i ask was you awarded if thsts too personal its fine

I did have to go to tribunal (who were very lovely) for one of my awards, but the other I got from a MR. So it's worth doing for sure. It'll be different for everyone though, there's too many individual factors involved.

I’m exactly the same worked since I was 16 I’m 53 now but struggled for years it’s disgusting how you have paid into the system for years but when you need help to get something back you have to fight for it , I would ask for a copy of your assessment then you can get an idea of what assessor has wrote x

Yes i will ask for a copy .. ive been reading more stories and im not hopeful .. but im very happy for you and glad there is some positive stories ... the descriptors are very hardvto get for mental health ... they contraditict eachother when you really read them ... anyway carnt do anymore just have to wait and see ... you were very lucky to get your decsision so soon ... so pleased for you

Morning just out of interest did they get all the medical evidence from your gp and hospital as i never sent that i just assumed they would contact gp ... or did you send it in thanks

I was awarded enhanced/enhanced in 2014 pretty much based on my mh with 8 points for walking around as I do have physical conditions, in 2019 though I was reviewed, not sure what went wrong but they ignored my mh, made it about my FM, lowered my award, when I appealed they acknowledged my mh again and awarded me enchaned/enhanced again, although I didn't get all the points back. I should have another review next month, I'm going to make sure everything is properly written on the from with real world examples.
Capita asked for a GPFR for my review because the case manager disputed it but because they made an error and requested it from the wrong medical centre which took them 2 months to rectify, my award was running out so I believe that's why my award was dropped, for ESA I filled in the form myself with a bit of help here and there, I was given a paperbased, they asked my GP for a GPFR and I was moved to support group. I just followed the advice given on these forums by people like Poppy.
Apparently it's rare for them to contact your GP.

Thanks for sharing your timeline. I’m at Point 3 as of today, just had that text.
It sounds like my claim is also similar to yours regarding mental health difficulties.
I wish they could be a little more transparent rather than sending just these automated texts. I can’t relax and am on edge seeing flashing colours as I don’t know if they are going to want to speak to me.
