    Sorry to hear that @coldcustomer Perhaps you could explain on your online journal for universal credit that you'd have trouble walking to the job centre, they might be able to rearrange things for you or do a telephone call if possible. It's well worth asking to see what they can do.

    Hi @coldcustomer - as far as Universal Credit goes you can certainly ask to have an interview by phone as Rosie said. Just mention that you need this as a 'Reasonable adjustment' due to your disability. Lots of our members have done so. My best wishes.

    I dont understand. i dint go to school. cos of abuse always waging it spent all my time in woods….. im 59 now. im a decent lady i think. ahve safe home but i don't understand. i feel so stupid is my writing ok ? can you help pls. I love animals they love you back

    People are trying to help you. For your UC have you reported your health condition and provided a fit note? If you do that then you will be referred for a work capability assessment.

    Once you report your health condition and provide a fit note you can ask for a reasonable adjustment for a telephone appointment instead of going to your local job centre.

    Do you have access to a journal for your UC? If so then you can put a message on there to ask for a telephone appointment instead.
