Pip descion letter

Can anyone please help me, I've finally received my descion letter review after 14 months on my letter is says we may owe you some money you will receive a letter to explain, my New award is enhanced both, which wasn't previous , States from summer 2023 so that's over a year back payment, I was also contacted last week out of blue asking me about could I handle a lumpsome n few other questions, im really confused to why it wasn't on The descion letter , has this happened to anyone else?I don't owe anything to debt management, if anyone could help clarify would be greatful, its making me very anxious, absolutely greatful to finally get the help I need, but I don't understand the above,

    Yes, it happens a lot. As the letter advises that it's been awarded from 2023 then that's what you'll receive but how long that will take I'm afraid I don't know.

    I had the same call a couple of weeks ago asking if I could manage a lump sum I said yes, had payment today 4 weeks after winning at tribunal.

    Mine was a review, I've received my descion letter, thanks for responding it's all so confusing

    It is confusing for people, but the DWP is a slow moving Government body unfortunately.
    On the plus side - it’s good news! Make sure to take copies of the letter and what it states. Things can easily get misplaced sometimes. I remember when I was first awarded DLA, the process was far smoother. I know how daunting the PIP process is no matter what level of disability you have. I know that they do check their records occasionally and errors are in the system - usually not in the favour of the person affected. It looks like this could have been the case with yourself. I would speak to my GP if I was in your shoes. They should be able to help you in any future dealings you have around your disability/disabilities.
