Confused about payment.
so I’m here today to get advise really.
I was a single claimant on uc as my children’s dad was living with his mom. We have currently got back together and as I have found work he has decided he will be moving in to do childcare as I will be doing nights. It will be easier.
My assessment period for my single claimant was done on the 21st July and I’m due my payment on 28th July which should show Friday 26th as my payment date falls on a Sunday.
When I filled in to make a joint claim today it’s completely changed my universal credit page. It doesn’t show payments due or anything anymore.
I’m worried I won’t get my payment this coming Friday 26th even though we’ve only put him on today he doesn’t actually come to stay until Friday.
My question is because I had my assessment period should I still get my payment for the last month. And then going forward it will alter due to my working and him living with me.
I have asked my bank if any upcoming payments are showing but they’ve said they can’t see any so I’m really stressed esp with 3 children.

You will still receive your normal payment on Friday. The reason why it's been removed when you reported changes is when going from single to couple or vice versa all of your journal entries and statements are removed.
Your UC entitlement is based on your circumstances on the last day of each assessment period. The changes didn't take place until after that AP had ended.
