Morning Everyone
My cousin who is in her 80s gets dla, from in her 60s, she is registered blind, but when she was first assessed, she was partially sighted, now she gets attendance allowance higher, and mobility lower, but now she has to have someone to go out with her, can she apply for higher mobility.
I would appreciate any feedback please
Elaine

Your post is confusing. You said she’s claiming DLA but then said AA. There’s no mobility part to AA.
For DLA as she’s over state pension age then claiming high rate mobility won’t be easy because she will need to prove that her health conditions got worse before she reached state pension age and this would be known as a supersession.
