Tribunal win … at least I think so

Hi after several long years and court adjournment my appeal has finally been approved . The dwp representative conceded on all counts this happened just under 3 weeks ago . I’m a little confused now as a call to the dwp for an update was responded to with they have 28 days to appeal . Can they appeal when they themselves changed the award for more points?

Great news. It would have been the Tribunal Judge that made the decision, not the rep from DWP. They still have the same chance we do to appeal the decision but they can't just appeal because they disagree.
First they need to request the statement of Reasons and Record of proceedings within 1 month of the date of the decision. Once they receive those they need to find the error in law before they can proceed further.
Sometimes they request them but rarely appeal it. It can take anything up to 8 weeks after a Tribunal decision to put the award into payment and pay what is owed.
