Hi, my name is lyn99!

Hi. I've been housebound for 3mths. Constant pain, burning throughout my body. The worse thing I can't cope with is the burning/ numbness in my legs and feet. I can barely walk. My Dr tested my blood beginning of May and I was Folic deficient, so I was taking Folic Acid for weeks with no improvement.
2wks ago I went to ,A&E with chronic back pain, my Son was pushing me in a wheelchair as I'm unable to walk far.
5hrs later I'm leaving with 3days of A/B for a UTI and told the same as my Dr keeps saying Anxiety. My Dr has finally prescribed Gabapentin of which I find the side effects horrendous.
So is this my life now ?

Hey @lyn99 and welcome to the community.
I'm sorry to hear about your recent ill health, that doesn't sound easy at all, but I'm glad you have your son there to help.
I'm hoping the gabapentin helps you soon, sometimes there can be a few weeks of side effects until things settle down, but I understand it's really not fun waiting for that to happen. Have they suggested any talking therapies for the anxiety?1
