ESA and Permitted work

Is it true that ESA benefits does not get deducted, if you do a few hours work every week and stick within the guidelines, say if I earned £80 a week permitted work, will my ESA get deducted, or will my payments stay the same. I have a serious health condition, and can only work about 8 hours a week.

For permitted work you're allowed to earn up to a maximum of £183.50/week and work less than 16 hours per week. Your ESA payments will not be affected.
You must tell DWP you're working and will need to fill out a PW1 form. Please also be aware that if the work you do contradicts the reasons why you're claiming ESA then it could go against you when you're next reviewed.

Thank you for replying back. I'm in the support group, Im a disabled person and I can only manage a few hours a week, one day a week, no more, due to pain and loads of other symptoms. Thank you again for the advice and information.
