Uc and LCWRA
Hello I have recently been told that I have LCWRA.
It states you can work 16 hour per week or less and still possibly be entitled to extra payments onto of UC but say I work 8 hours one week and 20 hours the next does it even out in the month or not? Also do I need to tell my employer that I have UC abd LCWRA?
Thanks for any advice.

There's no maximum amount of hours you can work when found to have LCWRA. Less than 16 hours per week applies to ESA.
If you didn't previously have the work allowance you'll now be entitled to that. This means you can receive a certain amount of earnings each month before deductions apply. If you claim for help with the rent it will be £404/month, if you don't it will be £673/month. For every £1 of earnings over those amounts your UC will reduce by 55p.
The extra money for the LCWRA element will be paid from the 4th month after you provided your first fit note.

Thank you both for responding is it possible to speak to someone on the phone and I'm still not very clear on how it works.
Thanks Rosanna
