UC migration Notice
Hello my husband and I have just had our migration notice, we have until the end of October to claim , can we leave it till almost that date ? I'm on child tax credit , carers and pip my husband is on income related ESA in the support group and dla, we also have housing benefit, with regards to housing benefit can this be paid direct to housing association?
What information do UC ask for ?
All new to this and quite worried about money stopping and having to wait for a month to hear from them

I can’t help with when you should claim but a word of warning. Citizens advice advised me to claim on 17/7/24. I had until 23/7 deadline.
I’ve just received an overpayment from tax child tax credits for £69. After being on the phone waiting for an hour they confirmed it’s because I had received tax credits the day I claimed UC.
Never had an overpayment in my life and now I’m in this situation so please becareful it doesn’t happen to you.
I havnt had any money as yet and I’ve nothing but stress.

Ah OK, so at least a week before the deadline date , I'm also worried about the amount of stress this will bring 😳
Thank you for your reply, hope you hear from them soon 😊
