I’ve been to market for strawberries for the wife. But couldn’t get any. Tried the shop. So had to come back with grapes.

Oh that's a pity @HarryMr though I think grapes are an excellent second choice. Hopefully your wife will enjoy them too. 😁

afternoon. We have had a busy few days with one thing and another. I am a little disappointed that it seems only the scope team have said hello to me. I am a ok fella I promise.

Heya @HarryMr good to see you again. 😊
I'd not worry too much, the community is a big place and sometimes people are busy helping others and may miss some discussions. Everyone tends to congregate in the How's your day going? discussion, come say hi. 😊

Thanks for the reassurance @Albus_Scope I am trying to join slowly to get to know the ways of the land. I don’t want to push my way into other post unless I have been introduced.
if anyone wants to ask me a question I don’t mind trying to answer but as I haven’t got involved in conversation I may find it to personal.
however I am here to build on becoming a welcomed member of your community.Footnote
Every time I close the page to open my Mencap page. My account signs out. So I have to keep signing back in. Is this normal
0 -
No problem @HarryMr there's no rush, take all the time you need. 😊
Unfortunately that doesn't sound normal, I've not seen anyone else mention issues with the community logging them out when going to other sites.

think I am going to try a different approach to get my hello responded to. @Albus_Scope
not sure about the thread you mention as it seems a private chat room for the more established community0 -
Hi @HarryMr. We don't have any private chat rooms, it may just seem that way sometimes as we have a lot of regular members, but that doesn't mean you can't join in, in fact we encourage it! You could start your own thread in the Coffee Lounge too if you like? Dive in!

Hello @HarryMr I hope you enjoyed your few days away. Have you looked after your grandson's cats before? Hopefully they were no trouble.

Hello @HarryMr . I just came across your post. I've been making lots of fresh fruit salads lately and buying lots of strawberries!! 🤭 I'm trying to eat healthy and am putting them on and in everything. They are my substitute for chocolate. I'm trying to stay away from the snacks. You've reminded me that I've got to get the grass cut👍, the patches of it at least 🤣
