Unexpected call from assessor clarifying details... but left confused/worried
I had a phone call with a professional from PIP assessor, who mentioned that I had a lot going on and wouldn't be sent for an assessment; they wanted to clarify a few things and then said they had done a report. While I am still worried, they have been in contact with neurology, neuropsychology, my mental health team, and my GP. I thought they weren't allowed to have ongoing conversations with different professionals and could only contact those listed on the form.

There's no rules against them contacting anyone. As the report has been done then you would have had a paper based assessment and that's a good thing.

bluefox, whoever they contact can't tell them how your disability affects you on a daily basis. Only you know that. I'd love to tell you not to worry. The thing is, I would worry too. Being anxious is part of my disability. No one can tell how anxious I can be. I think, after reading all the people who are involved in your case. You have much need of PIP. I'm learning to live in hope whilst I wait for my decision. If I think they have got it all wrong I will find the strength to dispute their decision.
bluefox, living in hope is sometimes all we have. I hope you get a successful outcome.
