Unwanted Metal Mobility Scooter Shed
Hi,
I have an unwanted metal mobility scooter shed, which was left here by the previous owner when we bought the house.
I was wondering if anyone on here might be interested or make use of this?

Heya @shaz_s and welcome to the community.
Thanks for thinking of others, but we don't allow ads on the community, it's a safety thing, I hope you understand.
Have you tried FreeAds, or maybe even Facebook?0 -
I second Albus,
what a kind thought. We have a metal shed as we are not allowed wooden ones because of the fire risk. If I get a mobility scooter, my poor husband will have to clear out the shed. Goodness knows where he will put all of his things. I guess eBay might be an idea for you and my husband.

hi Albus and Nikkita,
Apologies I wasn’t aware of the rules.
I spoke to someone at Scope on the phone today, explaining that I want to donate the shed, and she directed me to join and write on here to link me up with someone who needs it rather than someone who may take it and sell it on. She was very helpful and gave me other places to try too.
I can’t find /get hold of anyone from local council who might know someone who needs one and charities I have contacted so far don’t seem to be able to help either.
It’s just a shame as I don’t need /use it and I’m sure there are people out there who need one but can’t afford one.Not to worry, I will try free cycle and other places too.
Thanks 🙏0 -
It seems such a shame Shaz, I would love to have had your shed. I suppose you need someone quite close to your area or have a van to enable them to pick it up quite easily. I know there is a website that people can advertise on, especially for free things but the name of it has slipped my mind. I'll think of it when I'm not trying to think what it's name is. I'll put a note here when I remember it.
Isn't it annoying when something is on the tip of your tongue, but doesn't engage with your brain?
I often walk into my kitchen and forget why I'm in there. I imagine several people are like me. I have to laugh at myself. It's a struggle for me to walk, so the kitchen is arduous to walk to. I then sit back on my sofa trying to think what I needed. There are no metal sheds in my kitchen so I can rule that out😁now, where was I? Ah yes, the place I've forgotten. I'll give up it for now.
