I live in a Houseing association SNG was network homes. I need to use mobilty scooter because I have a condition which is DIFFUSE IDIOPATHIC SKELETAL HYPEROSTOSIS which means in my case in tween my lumber dish and tendons I lower back and hip are get that a over growth of calcium making pain and stiffness and in the last few weeks I had a mini stroke.where I live is what I call open plan front garden but one very selfish person has decided to fence hers off and has a hedge that covers half the path .Makeing in possible to get along that path one slip and I would be off the curb get back up is worse you cannot turn the front of my scooter to get along the path you Finnish up in the hedge which is not what I have to do I have been asking the Houseing Association for over 2years to make her cut it down. A week ago I was promised this would be done by the 9 th August this has not happened. Like wise next week my grandson is coming to stay with me and this women shouts at him saying he must not go out in the garden she does not want to see him there as he has AUTISM and is not normal he is very cleaver boy who is kind to everyone. The only way I can get out of where I live is to go up to the drop curb which is not the way I really want to go then I have to drive down the middle of the road as there is no path the other side it is a cul de sack with an approach road leading into it van and car and lorry come up so quick the near miss I had . I not going to put my life at risk anymore . So I am now no longer get out of my road unless my son or friends pick me up I should not have to live like this sorry I gone on a bit but I rally need advice .THANKS EVERYONE

Hi @chrisjay. Welcome to the community.

I'm so sorry your neighbour is causing you such distress. I would suggest contacting the Housing Association again to have them explain why nothing has been done. It is incredibly unfair that you have to struggle so much because of their hedge. Here's some information from the government website about making a complaint and, if needed, going to the ombudsman https://www.gov.uk/housing-association-homes/complaints .

If you feel your neighbour is harrassing you or your family, you can contact your local police who can help you deal with it.

I hope that information helps 😊
