Hi Newbie
Don't usually do this stuff.
As I waffle on when anxious.
Quick one, are they mainly doing phone assessments at the moment, as I was surprised to get a letter back saying I have a phone call assessment this week. After submitting uc50.Not that I am complaining as already high anxiety levels already there.
I did waffle on in forms as I have physical and mental health diagnoses evidence.
Finished work for health reasons only in April, working long term full time nights.
So am very green to the benefit system, but am learning fast.
Hope this makes sense,in my defense I am waiting for counselling 😆
Thanks Guys

Hi @SBC, welcome to the scope community 😊 Just want to let you know that waffling is perfectly okay! We can all get anxious at times and can show it in different ways, and going through the PIP process certainly can sometimes be anxiety inducing.
Telephone assessments are now pretty much the default or at least majority kind of assessment now. You may want to have notes prepared to make sure you don't forget to tell the assessor anything important about how your conditions affect you!
The benefits system isn't easy, it's quite complicated at times. It does sound like you're getting the hang of it though! Ask away with any other questions you have!
Best of luck with your assessment, and your counselling.
Let us know how you get on 🤞
