carers income support moving to UC
Hi there my carers payment through income support is moving to UC should i be confirmed they did not really ask how I caare for the person should i be worried about the lack of detail i figured it was fairly stright forward being moved over was I wrong ?

It's not the carers allowance that's moving to UC, it's Income Support. Carers allowance will continue to be paid as normal but it will be deducted in full from any UC entitlement.
If you've already claimed UC then when you filled out the form one of the questions asked was "are you caring for someone for at least 35 hours per week" from there you should have ticked yes. It doesn't ask you how you care for them specifically.
If you didn't report being a carer you should report a change of circumstances, then from the list click "caring for someone" then report it through there.
Your UC will include carers element.

yes it the income support to top up the carers allowence and i did tick it but ask for about the care i give is this because its stright forward moving over

They never ask about the care you give. All they ask is that you care for them for at least 35 ours per week. As a carer your migration should be straight forward and once they confirm that the person you're caring is claiming a qualifying disability benefit then your claim will be updated. You will then need to agree to your new commitments, which will be to just agree to report all changes.
As a carer you will not need to attend any further appointments after your first appointment.
